Info for Event Organisers

For Event Organisers

Getting value for money is an important factor in any business. Lawrence provides value by delivering a presentation that is built upon:

  1. Taking time to learn about you, your audience and what your objectives and specific needs are
  2. Tailoring his presentations so that they are right for your audience in terms of content, length and getting the balance right between learning, entertainment and inspiration
  3. Helping the audience to transfer the learning and insights directly in to their workplace.

  1. What are the most significant changes happening in your world?
  2. What are the biggest challenges that your audience members face?
  3. What are they themselves most concerned about?
  4. What are their biggest frustrations?
  5. What does a day in the life of your audience look like?

The Topic

  1. What is your Conference/convention theme?
  2. Why is this theme important to your organisation/group?
  3. What would you like to accomplish through having me speak to your group?
  4. What would make this presentation outstanding for you and your group?
  5. What balance would you like between education and entertainment?

Speaker logistics

The purpose of this section is to help ensure that you get the most from your investment in Lawrence as a speaker.

  1. Please have a cordless, hand-held microphone. Lawrence prefers NOT to use a lavaliere microphone.
  2. Please read Lawrence’s introduction, or keep it fairly close to the way it is written.
  3. For any size audience, have the audience close to the speaker.
  4. If the door at the back of the room closes loudly, please have a door stop so that the door will not be a distraction.
